We changed our site URL (or site address) to http://www.ann2.net/pld
on January 25,
2003. (NOTE: .net) That's simply a transition
from .com to .net.

What's the deal with
this URL change? Why announce it to the world?
The moment our host applies the change, you can NO longer access our
website with http://www.ann2.com/pld. Surfing to such address shall
give you a "page not found" error. I shall send everyone notice
through email once the change has been finalized.
Why do we need to
Blame it on our old registrar! The domain registrar for ann2.com is a deaf, incompetent
and expensive scalawag! I'm signing up with a better registrar under a new domain
(ann2.net) since that old 'scalawag' registrar is not responding to my request for domain
transfer. All site content will remain with our current host, so it shouldn't be
we expect any transition period?
As it turned out, the URL change did require a transition period. In
fact, it was almost as tedious as a host change. BUT CHILL! We are fine.
The files shall be gradually uploaded and the links corrected. I shall
keep you posted on the progress. So far, the
forums (top priority) have been restored. The latest messages were
deleted, but it shouldn't affect much.

Explorer Users: On your browser toolbar (top), click on Tools
> Internet Options. In the General tab, change your Home
page address to http://www.ann2.net/pld
Users: On your browser toolbar, click on Edit > Preferences.
Go to the Navigator category. Click 'Navigator starts with' Home
page button and change the home page location to http://www.ann2.net/pld
